When you have friends spread out all over the world and family living in different countries, how do you decide where to get married? Well this desert destination wedding was the perfect mix of all things Arizona and elements of each place the bride and groom love.
Emily and Kangogo decided to get married where she grew up, here in Phoenix, Arizona. They had friends and family come in from all around the US and even many of them from outside the country as well. That is because their love story has crossed many borders.
Emily and Kangogo met while working in Kenya. They lived for some time together in Paris before now living in Iceland. Talk about a well traveled couple!
All the countries they’ve lived in played a part in their wedding decor too. Bloom and Blueprint did an incredibly job designing their desert destination wedding and incorporating all the things Emily and Kangogo love. Like the assigned tables of Iceland, France, Kenya and Sudan.
With the bold and contrasted florals, cactus cookies and a desert color palette, there wasn’t a detail that wasn’t perfect. And, not only eas every detail great, but the entire day ended up going early too! That is almost unheard of in weddings. But this day was so relaxed, mellow and calm that everything just rolled so smoothly.
Oh, and wait until you see the sunset pictures. I swear, sometimes Arizona just shows off with the gorgeous glow of the sun.
