It was at this beautiful desert wedding that I first got to meet Catherine, where she was a bridesmaid

She and Drew immediately struck me as two of the kindest, loveliest people! And getting to know them, they have proved that to be true time and time again. They had a California destination wedding and I am so thankful to have been there to capture it.

Now, we were expecting much cooler temps in San Jose, California versus where we all live here in Phoenix, Arizona. But on the day they said “I do”, a heat wave hit. It was 99*F almost all day and real toasty warm. But that didn’t put a damper on the day in the slightest.

The bridal party was so much fun. The couple was incredibly excited (and BEAUTIFUL!). And the day went off without a hitch!

Catherine and Drew chose our team at MHW to photograph their big day and I am so happy did. I not only had an amazing day at work but truly felt like I was just another guest at their wedding, who also happened to have a camera. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful and wonderful.

So, enjoy this California destination wedding and see how cool they looked… even in the heat Oh, and did I mention a puppy flower girl?!?!!
