If you’ve been on my blog before, you have probably seen a SoHo 63 wedding that I photographed. It is one of the most beautiful venues, with an amazing team of people who work there and I am fortunate enough to shoot at SoHo 63 often.
What you may not know is that one of the main people that make that place as wonderful as it is (from a bride, vendor and guest perspective) is Jenna. She’s incredible. She is knowledgable, so detailed, smart, witty as can be and always there to help.
She will be the first person to check in on you. To make sure you’re staying hydrated. She is great at communicating with the bridal party, vendors and guests. Keep everything on track and perfect. It is not due to luck that every wedding I shoot at SoHo 63 is amazing, it is because it is a well oiled machine there.
The team knows what they are doing and Jenna has become not only a wonderful (kind of) co-worker of mine but a beautiful friend. You may remember seeing her and her fiance, Cody, in this desert engagement shoot. Or as models for this deep green love shoot.
But this day, the one I am sharing now, was so much more than either of those.
This was their wedding.
It was better than any shoot, any other wedding at this venue or else where and any wedding Jenna has worked. Because it was theirs. It was a celebration with their loved ones and the start of the biggest chapter of their lives together. Their marriage began on this day and it was the perfect foot to step off on.
It was fun, laid back, beautiful and a representation of these two completely.
Cody and Jenna. I love you two. You’re wonderful as individuals and even more wonderful together. Thank you for having me as part of your day shooting with my wonderful team mates at Monique Hessler Weddings. I can speak for us all when I say we seriously enjoyed every single minute. Now, let’s do it again!!
