As I sit to write this blog post, I am at a loss for words. This is a rare thing for a chatter box like me! Paige and Landon share a love like no other and their beautiful wedding day at The Paseo had me pinching myself a thousand times.

This wedding was so full of love, had so many personal and emotional touches and was one of the most fun receptions ever! Truly! The Superstition Mountains behind The Paseo made for an amazing backdrop to this fairytale day. Let me just give you some of the most memorable moments of the day from my perspective.

After shooting their engagement session I knew they had a shared love for Disney. Well they had a ring box with Cinderella’s castle on it, a hidden Mickey on their cake, a Minnie Mouse coffee koozie and more! Talk about adding a magic touch. Not to mention, Paige looked like an absolute real life princess. And she is just as kind, loving, warm and joyful as any Disney Princess I have ever seen! And you know me, I have seen them all 😉

Paige and Landon had some loved ones who were there in spirit and the way they honored them was beautiful. Landon had a pin in his jacket with his Grandfathers photo on it. This was a surprise gift to him from Paige and everyone immediately had tears in their eyes. Paige also had a photo charm for her mother on her bouquet! The two of them got personal gifts of their parents and loved ones. They had so many people at their wedding and it was so obvious that each and every person meant something special to them! What a beautiful support system!

Shooting for Monique Hessler Weddings is such a gift. You are probably tired of hearing me say we have the best clients, but we really really really do!! Paige and Landon are so much more than just clients, they are our friends! I felt like an honorary bridesmaid with a camera all day. Sharing the personal moments, dancing with the bridal party to Usher and N’Sync and, most importantly, feeling so blessed to witness the union of these two people. Paige and Landon are so in love and such a great match together. As I told Paige recently, if their marriage is half as beautiful and full of love as their wedding was, then they are destined to have an incredible life together.

Magical, I tell you! Magical in the best way!!
