The first time I met Julie and Ben we were sitting at a coffee shop in Chandler. I soon came to understand that coffee is a big part of their relationship! They have a shared love for it, go on regular coffee dates and they even incorporated it into their wedding in a few ways. After talking with them the first time, I left their consultation with my fingers crossed we would get to work together on their wedding day. I felt like I had known these two for years and we were long time friends! Well, I was right. These two quickly became like friends to me! They are so natural in front of the camera, so in love with each other and so much fun to be around. Their wedding at The Cabins on Strawberry Hill in the northern forests of Arizona was fairytale come true!

When their wedding day came around, it had felt like a long time coming! Months of planning, emails and preparation were finally about to pay off. And, oh my goodness, did they ever! The day was absolutely perfect.

Ben and Julie exchanged letters written to each other before their first look. Had tears of joy and laughter and emotion during their ceremony. Hugs, laughs and kisses galore throughout the entire day! Plus, just the right amount of coffee. These portraits are some of my favorites because every moment of their day was a part of their story. From the getting ready moments with her sister zipping her dress and her mom pinning her veil, Julie was a stunning bride. From the family photos to the dance floor, she and Ben were beginning their next chapter.

After learning the story of these two and all the ups and down they have been through together, I cannot wait to see this next chapter in their life. I have no doubt that their new journey as Husband and Wife is going to be their best journey yet. I feel so honored to have documented this day and to have gained such lovely friends through the process.
